LOCATION & FACILITIES
Discover our Range of Coaching Facilities & Location…
We have a range of coaching facilities for you to use in your lessons. Find out more information using the key below and view the map opposite to discover our location:
Professional Practice Area |
Private teaching area at the back of the practice facility. Features two grass hitting tees (bentgrass and zoysia), a synthetic turf tee line, a large short game area with four sand bunkers, and a putting green.
Short Game Area |
Tour Caliber short game area featuring three full-size greens to chip or pitch to, including a 75 yard "short hole" that players can hit full wedge shots into. Bunkers and natural undulation make practicing in this short game area unique as you could spend an entire session and never have the same shot twice.
Putting Greens |
TPC Potomac has two large putting greens available for member and lesson use. Both greens have soft sloping contours and are maintained at medium-fast speeds.
Practice Tee |
Four bentgrass hitting tees are available for member use. Featuring standard practice tee amenities including shaded hitting areas, bag stands, and yardage plates.
Indoor Simulators |
Seasonal availability. When it's too cold to practice outside, take your game into our indoor TrackMan simulators. Two full turn-key simulators allow golfers to see their golf ball and club data as well as ball flight. Play on one of the 100+ golf courses or just hit balls on the simulated driving range.

QUESTION

If you are taking a private lesson, getting fitted for golf clubs or attending a Junior Golf Program, please bring your entire golf bag. Group classes and clinics have specific topics and your Program Leader will tell you which golf clubs to bring for each class.
QUESTION
Where should I meet for my lessons?

All new students (private lessons) and club fitting clients should check-in at the Golf Shop. You will be directed to the instruction area once checked-in. Group classes, clinics and Junior Golf Programs should also check-in at the Golf Shop unless otherwise directed by the Program Leader.
QUESTION
I am not a TPC Potomac member, can I still take lessons or get fitted for golf clubs?

QUESTION
If I don’t have golf clubs, can I borrow some from TPC Potomac?
ANSWER
Yes! It is always best to use your own golf clubs, but if you don’t have your own set just let us now and we will find a suitable set of loaner clubs for you to use during your lesson, clinic or junior golf program.

How do I pay for my instructional programs or club fittings?
ANSWER
Members will be billed via their TPC member account. Guests can pay in the Golf Shop (cash or credit cards accepted) when checking-in for their appointment.
QUESTION
I did a custom club fitting and ordered golf clubs, when will I get them and how do I pay for them?
